This might sound funny in your ears but while I was in the bathroom this morning and I flushed, I realized the WC got filled up with water again within some seconds.
Immediately a picture came to mind about refilling . . .
If I had not used up the water in the WC another wouldn’t have been pumped into it. Are you getting it?
The less I visit the bathroom the more I delay or deter the water in the WC from “fulfilling” its purpose.
In the same vein, the less you use your gifts, the less you fulfil purpose, the less you get as well. . .
. . .Bring all the tithes into the storehouse. . . If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! (Emphasis)
Malachi 3:10 NLT. . .
Many of us have got skills, wisdom, talents, gifts, money, and brilliant ideas but we are either under-using or not using them at all. Some even think if they share or transfer their skills or ideas, they’ll run out. What a thought! The more you give the more you get . . .
Abraham gave his all and he is now known as the Father of many nations. Bill Gates gave his time, idea(s), and skill(s), see, everyone one way or the other pays him. Thomas Edison gave his best to studying and practising, he is being paid back via our purchase of bulbs.
I have not seen anyone who gave extravagantly that lacked. . . the gift of a man make way(s) for him . . .
So, keep working at refilling yourself . . . “And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. . .”
(Matthew 9:17 NLT).
If you’ve been huddling your gifts or talents or intellect please start using them wisely as God will have you use them.
To whom much is given much is expected. . . don’t wait till the little you have is taken away from you!
Start thinking of what you can do now, no more waiting. Start using your talents so you can get more. Keep increasing and sharing your knowledge.
You only refill at McDonalds when you pay an extra fee but Refill comes at No cost with God, just use well what He has given you . . .
